French KS3 (Y7-Y9) Outline of the course
At KS3 our students follow a two-part course with the textbook Allez which emphasis on independent learning, progression and above all on ‘real’ language, in line with the new curriculum, giving students the best chance to think creatively and express ideas using authentic language.
Throughout the three year course, students cover a variety of topics such as: personal information, school, home and animals, food, describing local areas, holidays, sport and leisure, entertainment, technology, teenage issues, balanced diet, job and ambitions and more.
Activities are differentiated in 3 levels, encouraging every student to progress, practice grammar concepts and develop their skills in more depth, motivating students to achieve their full potential.
Throughout the three year course students will conduct a good mixture of assessment and learning, along with the right balance of grammatical, functional and situational material which will prepare them effectively for their exams whilst supporting them as they develop as linguists
