Post-18 Information, Advice and Guidance

We provide a comprehensive programme of information, advice and guidance aimed at helping students in making choices about what they will do once they have completed their studies in the Sixth Form. Whatever choice they make, we support students in making applications for further study or employment.

We are very fortunate to have the support from Mrs S Reeve, who volunteers to work with our students as an Oxbridge and Aspirations Mentor on a Wednesday afternoon. Mrs Reeve works with individuals or small groups on their application and preparation for interviews.

The majority of Kings Langley School’s Year 13 Leavers go onto study at university (a few after having taken a gap year), however past students have also been successful in obtaining degree apprenticeships with companies such as Dyson, BAM and BT. Others have been appointed onto School Leaver Programmes with leading professional services companies such as KPMG and Deloitte.
